JOEY GREEN

Texas area native and Nashville transplant, known for his success on NBC's The Voice, Joey Green has become a household name in Texas for his rock 'n' roll to soul country rollercoaster ride of a live show.  He considers his genre post-Americana - a mix of Americana, rock and country. During an interview with Media Hub, he described it as “Americana with a pop sensibility, story songs with banger hooks.”   

Green has toured or performed with national acts, including the Eli Young Band, Randy Rogers, Stoney LaRue, Kevin Fowler, Sean McConnell, Giovannie & the Hired Guns, and Sam Riggs.  For the past several years, he’s been part of an international tour in London, Australia and Mexico called the Texas Music Takeover with other well-known Texas artists, Pat Green, Cody Canada, Wade Bowen, Vaden Todd Lewis (The Toadies), Sara Jaffe, Josh Abbott, Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum, Mike Ryan, and Casey Donahew.  

​Green has eight albums to his credit, the latest “Puttin’ It Out There,” a 6-song EP was released in May 2022.  “The War,” was an 11-song project released in 2015.  He released his debut album, “Outside the Circle,” and for a while performed in a band called Defining Briscoe.  Other releases include “Vinyl Destination” (2008), “Whatever Lady” (2009), “EP Tone Home” (2011), “Lo 5” (2013), “Live at the Whiskey Girl Saloon” (2013).    

Joey celebrates this year with a penned #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Charts, “Old Timers” with George Ducas.  His EP “Puttin’ It Out There” has landed singles on Spotify’s ‘New Music Nashville’, ‘Fresh Finds Country’, and ‘LA Pop Tunes’ playlists.  His music video for “This House Ain’t Big Enough” continues its’ successful run with national premieres on CMT, Country Rebel, Heartland, and Nashville Country TV and heads into a sixth month in the “Taste of Country” Top 10 Country Music Video Countdown.  Both singles “Saturday’s Are for The Boys” and “This House Ain’t Big Enough” remain in the Top 100 on the Texas Regional Charts.  

At the end of the day, Joey Green’s soulful country rock style and dedication to his craft create a space where audiences can’t help but listen.

When I first heard “Puttin’ It Out There” by Joey Green I felt like I was 16 again driving with the windows down blasting some Tim McGraw. Joey’s vocals give me Brantley Gilbert mixed with Eric Church vibes, and I can’t get enough! - Rock the Pigeon
